A short guide to Castleford.

The historic market town of Castleford is situated in the borough of Wakefield, has a population of 40,000 and is home to our newest office.

The town has great transport links, close to the M62 and a railway station that has links to major cities like Leeds. The town too housed a £6m new bus station in 2016, opening up more transport options, a very appealing factor for commuters.

The area is perfect for families with toddlers and teens, boasting nine primary schools and two secondary schools to choose from.

You needn’t spend another weekend without plans, as Castleford hosts a whole range of activities, from leisure complexes including Xscape and Snozone to nature reserves like Fairburn Ings, there are also a great selection of bars and restaurants too hosting a variety of different cuisines and drink selections.

Not far from the major city of Leeds, you are close to great nightlife should you want to venture out of the town.
