Chic Wakefield? We spotted an article on the Wakefield Express website that we found very interesting… It highlighted a blog post on Dowsing & Reynold’s website that claimed Wakefield had ranked 3rd most chic city in the UK in a recent study.

This just backs up what we at Richard Kendall already knew – Wakefield is a great place to live!  It has excellent road, rail and even air networks close by, but it also has a whole host of brilliant local amenities.  The city boasts cultural jewels such as The Hepworth Gallery and The Yorkshire Sculpture Park whilst Wakefield Theatre Royal and the annual Long Division music festival cater for lovers of the arts.  Wakefield and the wider district’s towns host a wealth of independent and unique businesses and restaurants for those who love to “shop local”. The area is also home to many parkland and woodland areas that are perfect for outdoor recreation, helping with both physical and mental health for local residents.
