Alison has been with Richard Kendall since 2005 from leaving school and has progressed from an admin role in Wakefield Branch to Sales Negotiator and now is Senior Property Consultant in Castleford.
Alison has celebrated all of major life’s landmarks to date with the team – getting married, having her two children, buying their first home together, and moving -house (an occupational hazard of working in an Estate Agent!).
Castleford born and bred she loves the town because of the people. It’s a close-knit and friendly community where everybody knows each other. A big Castleford Tigers fan, she says, ‘Castleford is definitely a Rugby Town and the town is orange and black on match days, the whole area gets behind them.’
She enjoys Escape and all the facilities it offers, Fairburn Ings, for an outdoor picnic and the nature reserve. There are massive plans to extend Axion by 2021 which will bring more visitors to the area – 75 new units and a new Castleford ground holding 10,000 capacity.
Alison is seeing a trend of people from Leeds moving to Castleford due to the easy commute which is only a short train journey away and the fact that you get more house for your money in Castleford!
