Exam Success at Richard Kendall Estate Agent
February 24, 2020

Richard Kendall Estate Agent has long been an established licensed member of The National Association of Estate Agents, Propertymark and we have always adhered to their strict code of practice. Over the last several years, a Property Agents Working Group has been set up which has sought to identify key industry issues around the Estate Agency sector, with the regulation and qualification of agents being at the forefront. Propertymark has long campaigned for the Government to regulate the industry and to ensure each member of staff selling houses across the UK are qualified to do so.
Over the years at Richard Kendall Estate Agent we have seen many of our staff members take on the task of studying and taking the exams for both the Level 3 award in The Sale of Residential Property and the Residential Letting and Property Management. 2019 was the year where we saw success from 8 members of staff passing this award and are now members of the National Association of Estate Agents.
Needless to say, we are overwhelmed at the achievement of each staff member. The dedication and commitment each individual has shown in studying for the exams is something that we are quite proud of. In fact, nearly 80% of our customer-facing staff are now fully qualified members of the NAEA or ARLA.
Andrew Leeson, part of our valuation department said
“gaining more knowledge of the sector has been invaluable for me. It has helped me provide better customer service and more confidence in helping members of the public with difficult matters they can be faced with when selling their home”.
Margaret Lord, the receptionist at the Wakefield office adding
“It has made me feel more confident in my roles and passing the exams was a massive achievement and made me feel very proud of myself”.
Sarah Whalley, Senior Negotiator at our Normanton branch said
“To be able to add the letters MNAEA after my name is wonderful, I’m extremely proud to be a qualified member of the NAEA. After working in the industry for almost 18 years I don’t know why I waited so long to take the qualification because it’s given me all the additional information I need to be able to provide the best service I can to Richard Kendall Estate Agent’s clients.”
We pride ourselves in offering the best customer service in the local area, together with the local knowledge that comes with selling houses in Wakefield for over 50 years. The qualification ensures that all who contact Richard Kendall Estate Agent have confidence and knowledge in the advice that we are giving them.
Regardless of the end decision to be made by the Government, here at Richard Kendall we are ensuring that you are in safe hands whether you are buying or selling your home with us.
