Jenny at our Wakefield office is taking on the Aspire Channel Swim.
February 4, 2019
What started off just a regular meet up with her father, Guy, every few weeks for a swim and now Jenny is already a few weeks in to the challenge of swimming 22 miles over a 12 week period.

The reason behind this decision is that every eight hours, someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury, and no one is ever prepared for how it will change their life. The money Jenny raises by taking part in the Aspire Channel Swim will help spinal injured people to live their lives independently.
This year, Aspire Channel Swimmers such as Jenny and Guy will fund dozens of Aspire Grants, which help fund wheelchairs, sports equipment and assistive technology. They will also help fund their essential Welfare Benefits Advice Service to ensure that people receive the benefits that they’re entitled to and their Independent Living Advisors so that newly injured patients have someone to speak to.
Aspire receives no government funding, so every penny raised is extremely important to them.
If you see Jenny at Sun Lane Leisure then make sure you give her a cheer 🙂
Thankyou
